Three December Events Ring in the Holidays at BAI

Join the Borrego Art Institute for two shows and the return of its popular pottery sale starting Dec. 2. In the main gallery, the talented artists of the Borrego Art Guild will offer paintings, photography, mixed media and more as part of their annual member’s show. In the north gallery, the Borrego Art Institute’s Pottery department will feature the wonderful ceramic work of local artists. Ceramic artist John Steenhoven will also present his powerful work in Expressions in Earth and Fire in BAI’s Alcove Gallery. His techniques include slab compression, the potter’s wheel, extrusion and hand building. The opening reception is Dec. 2 from 4-7 p.m. The shows run through December 31.
